Leave us a Google ReviewCeazers 3D is an engineering-focused design and prototyping studio. We exist to close the gap between ideas and reality, giving individuals, students, startups, and businesses access to professional-grade design and manufacturing capability.
We are not a generic print shop. We are technically capable, detail-driven engineers who understand that every project has real-world requirements, tolerances, materials, function, and fit. That understanding shapes everything we produce.
Whether you have a polished brief or just a rough idea drawn on paper, we have the tools and the expertise to take it forward. Our goal is simple: deliver work that functions, looks professional, and makes your project succeed.
To make professional engineering design and prototyping accessible to anyone with an idea, providing the technical capability that turns concepts into real, tangible, working solutions.
Every model is reviewed for printability, structural integrity, and fit-for-purpose before delivery. We do not ship work we would not be proud to put our name on.
Individuals with product ideas, engineering students, hardware startups, and businesses needing custom parts, prototypes, or technical documentation, at any stage of development.

We work with a range of engineering-grade thermoplastics. Each material has unique properties suited to different applications, environments, and performance requirements.
PLA
The most popular FDM material. Easy to print, great surface finish, biodegradable. Ideal for prototypes, models, and decorative parts.
PETG
Tough, flexible, and chemical-resistant. Great for functional parts that need durability and slight flex without brittleness.
ABS
Heat-resistant and impact-tough. Used in automotive, enclosures, and parts that need post-processing like sanding or acetone smoothing.
TPU
Flexible, rubber-like, and abrasion-resistant. Perfect for gaskets, grips, phone cases, wearables, and any part needing stretch or impact absorption.
ASA
UV-stable and weatherproof version of ABS. Ideal for outdoor fixtures, automotive exteriors, and parts exposed to sunlight or moisture.
PLA+
Improved version of PLA with better toughness, impact resistance, and reduced brittleness. Great all-round upgrade for functional prototypes.
PA
Engineering-grade material with excellent fatigue resistance, toughness, and low friction. Used in gears, hinges, and load-bearing components.
Have a specific material requirement? We can source and test additional filaments for specialist applications. Get in touch and we will advise.

Everything you need to know before placing your first order. Can't find your answer?
We're happy to answer any question over WhatsApp or email — most replies within a few hours on business days.
Ask Us Directly →We accept STL, OBJ, STEP, and IGES files — STL is the most common and recommended format. If you only have a sketch or concept, our CAD team can model the part from scratch. Submit files via our contact form or share a link to Google Drive, WeTransfer, or OneDrive.
Most standard parts are completed within 2–5 business days. Turnaround depends on size, complexity, and queue. Small parts under 100 mm often print overnight. Rush orders (1–2 day turnaround) are available — contact us to confirm availability. Nationwide courier delivery adds 1–3 days.
We print in PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU (flexible), and Nylon PA12. PLA suits prototypes and display models; PETG handles chemical exposure; ABS/ASA offer UV and heat resistance; TPU produces rubber-like flexible parts; Nylon delivers top-tier strength for load-bearing components. See our Materials section for full specs.
Prices start from around R150–R400 for small parts and scale with volume, material, and infill. Use our instant cost estimator for a ballpark — it takes under a minute. Bulk orders of 5+ units get 10% off and 10+ units get 20% off. Final quotes are confirmed after reviewing your file.
Yes — we ship nationwide via courier. Based in Durban (uMbilo), we deliver to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, and everywhere in between, typically within 1–3 business days. Files are submitted remotely, so there's no need to visit us in person.
Absolutely. Our CAD design service works from sketches, photos, or verbal descriptions. We use Fusion 360, SOLIDWORKS, and Onshape to create precise, print-ready 3D models. You receive the final STL and STEP files — you own the design outright. This is popular with entrepreneurs, students, and businesses launching new products.
No minimum — we print single units. Whether you need one prototype or a batch of 50 identical parts, we accommodate both. Larger batches naturally benefit from our bulk pricing starting at 5 units. We're equally happy helping a student with one part as a business ordering in volume.
Located in uMbilo, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. We work with clients across South Africa — files can be submitted remotely and parts shipped to your door.
